Gemma & Alen made the most of their beautiful June wedding day by having an outdoor ceremony at Easthampstead Park. It’s  an impressive Victorian mansion set in 60 acres of parkland near Wokingham and approached by a  half-mile tree-lined drive way.

OnBride and groom walk hand in hand though confetti line. arrival I was welcomed by Gemma’s father Fred and I could feel that this was going to be a very friendly wedding. Alen arrived in a classic VW camper van looking suitably nervous while upstairs in her room a more relaxed Gemma was already glowing in her fabulous wedding dress.

After the ceremony the couple took a pleasure ride in the VW camper van and I joined them for part of the way down the drivewbride and groom kiss in front of Harley Davidson motorbikes.ay. Without a cloud in the sky it was a long, hot walk for me back to the guests. I think I deserved the cornet served to me from the traditional ice cream stall.

A surprise in the early evening was the visit by a noisy fleet of Harley Davidson bikes from the Thames Valley UK Chapter of the Harley Owners Group.  Now I didn’t have Gemma’s dad down as a biker but he’s actually a member, and the tough looking guys with long grey beards (and a lady) were soon posed bride & groom romantic scene with evening sun.hugging him. I have to say that they were all really pleasant when I spoke to them. It was a really good opportunity for some unusual wedding photos, and great for my video.

It was a pleasure to work with photographer Kirsty Corbett for the first time.  She was working well with both the group and more romantic shots and that makes life easy for me too!

As usual I’m pleased to report that  Gemma and Alen are very pleased with the DVD. Gemma told me that the video is beautiful and made her cry,  but good happy tears. That’s what I always love to hear!
