BW Blog Has that video camera got sound on it?

A Zaffa Montage

The zaffa is a traditional Arabic wedding procession with drums, dancers and sometimes men carrying flaming swords! There were no flaming swords at Jonathan and Charlotte's wedding zaffa but it was still an amazing event with the hypnotic and infectious rhythm of the drums and the reactions of the guests creating an atmosphere that can only be captured by film. I hope you'll enjoy this short extract which also includes a montage of some of the day's highlights.

Jonathan & Charlotte were married at the stunning Elvetham Hotel, a classy 19th-century mansion located on 35 acres adjacent to the River Hart, near Hartley Wintney. The venue was looking at its best with lots of really impressive floral displays. Resident toastmaster Eric Gill (a mate and fellow Spurs fan) added his usual organisation and finesse to the day. To make the day even more enjoyable for me I was working with talented Julie and Martyn, the photographers from Confetti Shots who had recommended me.

As usual for BW Videofilms the weather was fine and they were able to have an outdoor ceremony. Lovely Charlotte was nearly upstaged by her adorable little niece Chiara who clearly loved the camera as you can see.

There were many highlights to choose from including the zaffa procession and the day ending with probably the best wedding fireworks display I have seen, backlit by a glorious full moon.  What with great people to work with, the venue, the flowers, Chiara and beautiful Charlotte radiating happiness throughout the day it was a really easy day for me. Needless to say Jonathan and Charlotte love their DVD and Blu-ray.
